How much does a notary charge in California?
In California, a Notary must only charge the maximum fee or less according to CA state laws by the Secretary of State. A Notary can put their signature and seal on a Acknowledgement, Jurat, Power of Attorney, or Depostion. An Oath or Affirmation is always administered to a Jurat. Traveling fees varies and is determined by the Notary Public.
